Motif draws its inspiration from the traditional local game Loka Goti—with Loka meaning "throwing and catching" and Goti meaning "pebble." This age-old stone game, played with five small stones, is symbolically represented through the use of five naturally dyed colours in the design.
The dupatta features all-over repeat patterns created using the extra weft hand weaving technique on a throw shuttle handloom. Woven with natural dyed cotton yarn, each thread reflects the rich tradition and craftsmanship rooted in local heritage.
